8 Days in Türkiye: Ephesus, Pamukkale, Antalya and Cappadocia from Istanbul
If you want to see a lot of Türkiye in a single trip, the 8 Days Ephesus, Pamukkale, Antalya, Cappadocia Tour from Istanbul is one of the most varied routes we offer. It follows the classic cultural circuit (the ancient streets of Ephesus, the mineral terraces of Pamukkale and the volcanic valleys of Cappadocia) and adds a Mediterranean stretch in Antalya. You get ancient sites, inland scenery and time by the sea, all in one itinerary.
Tour Highlights
- A guided walk through Ephesus Ancient City, plus the House of the Virgin Mary and the site of the Temple of Artemis
- Pamukkale's white calcium terraces, the ruins of Hierapolis and the Cleopatra Antique Thermal Pool
- The classical heritage of the Antalya region: Perge, the Aspendos Theatre, the Ancient City of Side and the Lower Duden Waterfall (when local conditions permit)
- A free day in Antalya to enjoy the coast at your own pace
- Two guided days in Cappadocia: the northern valley route and the southern valleys with an Underground City
- Meals and entrance fees included, with a guaranteed departure
Ephesus and Pamukkale: The Aegean Opening
The journey begins with a flight from Istanbul to Izmir and a full day in Ephesus. Its marble streets, theatre, public buildings and the celebrated Library of Celsus show the scale of an ancient Mediterranean city. After the walk, the day continues to the House of the Virgin Mary and the site of the Temple of Artemis.
On day two you travel from the Aegean coast (Kusadasi/Selcuk) to Pamukkale, known for brilliant white travertine terraces formed by mineral-rich thermal water. Above them, Hierapolis adds ancient streets, a theatre and traces of a long spa tradition. Access to individual pools follows the current site rules.
Antalya: A Mediterranean Chapter
What sets this route apart is Antalya. On day three a scheduled intercity coach takes you towards the coast, where you settle in. Day four is dedicated to the region's classical heritage: Perge, the theatre at Aspendos, ancient Side and a stop at the Lower Duden Waterfall when local conditions permit. Day five is free in Antalya, so you can enjoy the coastal setting at your own pace before an evening overnight coach to Cappadocia.
Cappadocia: Valleys, Viewpoints and an Underground City
You arrive in Cappadocia on day six with the rest of the day free to recover from the overnight journey. Day seven follows the northern Red Tour with a licensed guide: Devrent Valley (Pink Valley), Pasabag Open Air Museum, an Avanos pottery workshop, the Goreme Panoramic View, Zelve Open Air Museum and the exterior of Uchisar Castle. On day eight the southern Yellow Tour covers Red Valley, Rose Valley (Gulludere Valley), Cavusin Village, Pigeon Valley and an Underground City, before the transfer to the airport for your return to Istanbul.
